In the previous post, I linked to a firearm self-defense story articulately penned and, unfortunately, experienced, by a blogger. Many others linked to it, read it, empathized with it and congratulated the gentleman on his cool-headed defense of himself and his family. Then there were the other ones: the ones who, in their unwillingness to consider that the citizens of this country just might need to be armed against the scum of society, refused to believe the account. They nitpicked the language of the story, and, worst of all, refuted the veracity of it on legal grounds (no names or locations had been mentioned).
Then his site host became involved and now many legal wranglings will ensue.
All because some racist thugs--the capped burglar said that he was going to kill all the n****** in the house--broke into his house and he made the legal choice not to take it lying down.
In order to help alleviate some of the flak the gentleman is taking--which is partly my doing--I have removed the link in the previous post along with the name. Godspeed, sir.
