Their Ears Must Have Been Burning
I shouldn't expect the CBC to come to Condoleezza Rice' aid. They've got too many more important guests to which to cater: famously weird, marginally black, indicted-for-child-molestestation types, for example. And get a load of the subject to be discussed! There's more than one joke in there somewhere.
There are a few things worse than bad timing, but not many. Bad judgment would be counted in the 'worse things' number, however.

Thanks for the link, luv. :)

"“King of Pop” Michael Jackson, recently indicted on child molestation charges, is scheduled to meet with the Congressional Black Caucus on Wednesday to talk about world affairs."
That may explain a lot about the CBC's world view...or lack of world view.

The Congressional Black Caucus is a "liberals only may apply" racist group which has its own agenda; not in tune with the majority of Americans. Its sole function is to watch each others back. Black Republicans need not apply.

Michael Jackson and world affairs. That gives me a truly warped mental image.

You'd think they'd pay someone to update the message from the Chair -- it talks about "a day-long meeting they held in January 2003".

Um, way to go to marginalize themselves.

Can you believe that? I think all members of the CBC should be investigated for possible financial connections to dictators like Aristide. Sometimes I get too angry to speak, but I can always blog!

The really sad thing is that for one reason or another we are all paying their salaries. People get the government they deserve, but what did I ever do to deserve this?
