Happy Veteran’s Day to all my old friends, new ones, the ones I don’t know, to the guys and girls putting it on the line right now and most especially to those who have fallen in the line of duty.
Blackfive has two great on-going series entitled “Someone You Should Know” and “Showdown.” The first chronicles the extraordinary lives (and deaths) of today’s military heroes and the second updates the Marines' sojourn in Fallujah, so I’m not going to step into his territory.
Keeping with the theme of yesterday’s last post, I’d like to give a few tidbits of the history of each service. Bear with me and feel free to correct me if I get some things wrong.
Oh, and by the way, Arafat is still in stable condition. Would that it were so with all terrorists.
