(February 15, 2005) - Fox News channel political contributor Tony Snow told his radio listeners yesterday that he’s been diagnosed with colon cancer. The 49-year-old Snow said his doctor told him Friday “he had found a small, cancerous lesion inside my colon.”He didn’t give details of the treatment he’ll undergo beyond surgery to remove the tumor. "So as soon as possible, I'm going to go in and get that sucker taken out," he said.
His cancer was discovered during a screening colonoscopy. "One of the good things about going in for an annual colonoscopy is you don't give these bad guys too much time to grow, so I probably saved my life by going in," he said.
