The long-time ABC News anchor succumbed to inoperable lung cancer.
I really hate it when someone I merely dislike dies a painful death like this, because I want them to be healthy and well so I can dislike them with a clean conscience.
Hopefully, he was able to find some peace before he went.

It's just that he's not in the ground yet and I don't go there until such time--actual terrorists and murderers are excluded from this rule.
And as someone who has done battle with nicotine-addiction--winning right now--I'm not willing to have its effects boomerang onto me by gloating over Mr. Jennings' lost battle.
If he has something to pay for, you can bet that he's paying right now.
