Ms. Althouse:
Since you closed your comments to this post, I couldn’t respond when you brought my nom de guerre into your on-going row with Jeff Goldstein regarding your criticism of Pajamas Media:
And now you're mad at me for calling attention to it [a matter concerning Jeff's and Hillary Johnson's T-day satire at PJM]? You come over to my blog and rant as if you've been given the assignment to be my personal Baldilocks?I don’t exactly know what you mean by that, but unless you're trying to escalate matters by bringing me into it, I suggest you leave my name out of your flame wars. I said my piece on your behavior in this matter here. You responded and came away from your visit to my blog presumably with nary a scorch mark. You said something quite reasonable:
I admit I asked for a fight, but I'm still allowed to criticize how people fight.I don’t like how you fight, Ms. Althouse, but, yes, we all are allowed to criticize such things. And, in this Land of Free Criticism, I am content to sit back silently and be entertained as I watch you (and others) exercise these wonderful freedoms we have. However, if you want to use my name as a weapon in order to facilitate waging one of your many battles, be advised: I like exercising my right to free speech as well.
I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving Day.
