A Ray of Hope
From a group of Arab and Muslim young people:
In the middle of all the mayhem surrounding the Danish cartoons controversy, a group of Arab and Muslim youth have set up this website to express their honest opinion, as a small attempt to show the world that the images shown of Arab and Muslim anger around the world are not representative of the opinions of all Arabs. We whole-heartedly apologize to the people of Denmark, Norway and all the European Union over the actions of a few, and we completely condemn all forms of vandalism and incitement to violence that the Arab and Muslim world have witnessed. We hope that this sad episode will not tarnish the great friendship that our peoples have fostered over decades.Read more here.
As cynical as this may sound, I hope that these kids have their identities well protected.

I'm sure some of these rent-a-mobs arrived on state subsidized buses. It's in the interest of every Arab tyrant to keep whipping this up, to keep the focus of rage away from home

I'm going to say a phrase made famous by the late and great cartoonist Charles M. Schultz's character Charlie Brown:
My stomach hurts.
That sums up how I feel about those young folks future.

Yes. I also am afraid that imprisonment, and "accidental" deaths will follow these youngsters. If they live in an "enlightened" Islamic society, then public head choppings will follow.
Now where did I put my damn prayer rug?

I think they are pretty careful about their anonymity. They've got it on Go-Daddy with a no-show on the name. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if they'd taken other precautions.
