Still In New Mexico

Michelle Obama hasn't taken my advice and is holding forth in the Duke City.

Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, will be in Albuquerque Tuesday for a $500 a plate fundraiser in Nob Hill [nice area].

She will then head to Santa Fe [liberal land] for a $ 1,000 a plate event with Gov. Bill Richardson.

Kind of makes the following demagoguery by her husband ring hollow, no?

I just had the privilege of visiting with Felicitas Rosel and Francisco Cano at their home here in Las Vegas.

Today, John McCain is having a different kind of meeting. He’s holding a fundraiser with George Bush behind closed doors in Arizona. No cameras. No reporters. And we all know why. Senator McCain doesn’t want to be seen, hat-in-hand, with the President whose failed policies he promises to continue for another four years.

Let's hope that Mrs. Obama doesn't accidentally cross paths with George W. Bush, who is also in New Mexico raising funds. In his case, he is assisting GOP candidate Darren White who is running for Heather Wilson's House seat. Ms. Wilson (R) is running to replace retiring US Senator Pete Domenici.
