D-Day Plus 64 Years

Could you do this, having an idea of your fate awaiting?

Dday

Yeah, I don't know if I could either. That's what makes it so awe-inspiring and why we revere the day, those who did not survive and those who did and kept on coming.

"You are not all going to die." Confederate Yankee has General Patton's Normandy Invasion Speech.

Lawhawk: Into the Breach, dear friends.

The sixth of June--1918.

Becoming the Leader of the Free World.

Laughing Wolf: The Longest Day.

Google ignores the Day, but celebrates the birth of Spanish artist Diego Velasquez.

The Sniper: Remember.

RELATED: Jack Lucas, who was the youngest person to have been a recipient of the Medal of Honor, died today at age 80. He was 14 when he snuck into the Marines and 17 when he did the deeds which the Medal represents.

Lucas
O Superman!

(Thanks to the Donovan)
