Candy Bombing in 2008

The Original 'Greatest Generation' set the example...

Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Gail S. Halvorsen [87], front, also known as the "Berlin Candy Bomber," watches [flies the helicopter?] as U.S. Army Col. Ray A. Graham, Jr., commander of the U.S. Army garrisons Hessen and Wiesbaden, drops candy over Wiesbaden Army Airfield in Germany June 29, 2008. Halvorsen is in Germany to help mark the 60th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift, during which he dropped mini-parachutes of candy from his aircraft to German children.
